New  How to make successful presentations in a seminar ?

This is a short paper (3 pages) in English written for my M.Phil students at the University of Delhi. I give them some tips to turn a 20-minute formal academic presentation from a boring exercise to a moment of thought-provoking exchange with your audience. Don't expect any difficult or elaborate recipe! But you might find some helpful tricks to help improve your communication skills.

 Comment réussir le DALF ? (Examination from the Alliance française)

This document is in French. It is meant to provide directions on how to prepare the written part of the "DALF certificate"examinations of the Alliance Française available worldwide. In this paper I give advice on how to write the "synthèse de document", one of the most dreaded exercise by students, and the "essai argumenté".

 How to write a French dissertation ?

This was written as a worksop paper for my MA/M.Phil in French students at the University of Delhi, India in 2007. It is mainly written in French (although the summary is available in English). Its purpose is to try and give clear explanation on how to write a French dissertation, i.e. a specific type of argumentation in French. It is aimed at students in French from anglo-saxon universities where this exercise is not usual.
